AT&T STADIUM – HOME OF THE DALLAS COWBOYS
The ultramodern Dallas Cowboys stadium is the jewel of Arlington, in the heart of the Entertainment District. Opened to the public a few years ago, it stands out from other American soccer stadiums first and foremost for its sleek, modern, UFO-like architecture, which cost $1.3 billion. It has the biggest screen in the world and hosts a wide range of events in addition to soccer, from Monster trucks to basketball and motocross competitions. The multi-millionaire owners, Mr. and Mrs. Jones, also wanted to add an artistic touch to the complex. Works of art are displayed throughout the stadium, both in the VIP club and in the general lobby. A guided tour of the stadium is a must, whether you're interested in art, architecture or soccer. Note that Cowboys Stadium is the only stadium where fans can walk - and even throw a few balls - onto the field.
