Two routes serve Fort Worth: Texas Eagle and Heartland Flyer. The first one connects Chicago to Los Angeles. It connects, within Texas, Fort Worth to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso. Trains also stop in Temple, San Marcos, Del Rio, and Alpine. The second connects Fort Worth to Oklahoma City. Trains depart daily. En route, the line serves the city of Gainesville. There is also a cafe on the train that offers a variety of meals.
