Rare enough in Texas to be worth mentioning, a train in perfect working order links Dallas to Fort Worth. It operates like a Parisian commuter train, serving a total of 11 stations, including Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. On weekdays, the first train leaves just before 5 a.m. and the last at 1:25 a.m. Allow an hour to get from one end of the line to the other. A "regional day pass" allows you to take this train as many times as you like, as well as the DART lines (local transport) in Dallas and Fort Worth.
