STOCKYARDS HOTEL
Hotel located in the heart of the Stockyards district, with rooms in a typical Texas decor with warm colors
The Fort Worth hotel behemoth, open since 1907 and located in the heart of the Stockyards district, is well worth a mention Bonnie & Clyde slept there, as did John Fitzgerald Kennedy (on his last night). Whether you sleep there or not, a quick tour of the lobby is well worth the trip. It gives you a taste of what the rooms might be like, in a typically Texan decor featuring leather, wood and warm colors. In the common areas, sculptures and paintings bear witness to Texas tradition.
