Willie Nelson, Bob Wills, Porter Wagoner, Jim Reeves, Bobby Bare and many others played here. A documentary entitled America's Music: The Roots of Country, released in 1996, features a scene filmed at the Stagecoach Ballroom. It's a bit of an old local country music institution, and well worth a visit. The Stagecoach always has a band on site, playing every Sunday from 4pm. Fridays are usually reserved for local bands. There's also a large dance floor!
