The building was built in 1910 and was once Fort Worth's pharmacy, Atlantic Coffee Co. a drugstore, a bookstore, and then, finally, Thompson's Bookstore Cocktail Lounge and Speakeasy. The atmosphere is very authentic, with an old bar reminiscent of the Prohibition era. We've kept the bookstore atmosphere, with shelves of books, and from the outside it looks more like a bookshop than a bar. A way of hiding this old-fashioned speakeasy. The cocktails here are very good. Sit back and relax on a sofa or armchair.
