The mission of this museum is to preserve, promote and protect the rich heritage of ranching life, a culture unique to Texas. This museum is located on the second floor of the Science Museum, and tells the story of the cattle industry from its origins among the first Spanish settlers of the West, through the heyday of legendary cattlemen, to the modern technology of today. Note that paid admission to the exhibit includes admission to the Science Museum exhibits, as well as half-price admission to the National Cowgirl Museum.
