This 44-acre botanical garden is the oldest of its kind in Texas. Its first plantings date back to 1934. Divided into 21 sections, it is home to over 2,500 different species. A greenhouse, called the Conservatory, houses a large number of tropical plants. There is also a beautiful and fragrant rose garden. The Japanese Garden is truly an oasis of coolness and tranquility, especially during the Texas summer. We also recommend the Native Texas Boardwalk.
