This suspension bridge, built in 1870, is one of the symbols of the city.
One of the city's symbols, this bridge is the kind of monument that generation after generation of locals will always fight to maintain. It was built in 1870 with cables supplied by a company that also supplied the engineers who worked on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. This suspension bridge, made of almost three million bricks, crosses the Brazos River and links Indian Spring Park with Doris D. Miller Park. The ideal place for a pleasant stroll or bike ride.
