This brand of soda, or cola to be precise, will mean nothing to many travelers, unless they've been in the U.S. for a few days already - or have seen Forrest Gump. Dr Pepper is not widely distributed in Europe, but has established itself on the other side of the Atlantic, along with Pepsi, as a serious competitor to Coca-Cola. The museum tells the story of the brand, and displays numerous objects from the era: posters, bottles, dispensers... This museum is in Waco, as it was here that this soda was invented and first put on sale in 1885. The museum offers guided tours.
