THE NAT
Spanish style building that was an open-air swimming pool, then a theater, a dance hall and a bookstore.
This large Spanish-style building was first an open-air swimming pool built in 1922 (with the name Natatorium), covered in 1923, then from 1926 an auditorium, a dance hall and finally a bookshop before becoming an antiques store: The Nat Antiques & Collectibles. In its heyday, from 1935 to the 1950s, numerous orchestras and artists performed here. Don't be deceived by the main entrance on South West 6th Avenue: the most beautiful facade is on South Georgia Street.
