The American Windmill Museum features numerous windmills, along with their history, use and role in the development of early Texas villages. Some are nearly 200 years old, and are truly remarkable structures, picturesque and typical of the American landscape, especially in the South, often found as backdrops in American works of art. Highly recommended! They offer guided tours for groups of six or more, bookable by phone.
