Center to find a giant version of dark glasses in Lubbock.
From I-27, take 19th Street Exit west. The center collects, preserves and showcases artifacts related to Lubbock's most famous native, Buddy Holly, as well as other West Texas artists and musicians. At the entrance to the Buddy Holly Center, you'll find a giant version of his iconic black glasses. The Buddy Holly Gallery is also located here. The center aims to preserve Buddy Holly's legacy, as well as the region's art and music.
