The Gardner The cheapest hotel in downtown El Paso, offering clean, comfortable rooms with old-fashioned decor
This hotel-auberge is the city's oldest, having opened in 1922 and is therefore over a century old. On the plus side, it's also one of the least expensive in the city center. Rooms are relatively clean. Comfort, on the other hand, is rather basic, with outdated decor and mattresses not always in the best condition. Some of the hotel's rooms have been set up as youth hostels, and are therefore offered at even lower prices. But, honestly, it's good value for money, and will do the trick when you're in El Paso.
