This park is home to the memorial commemorating the 1963 agreement between the United States and Mexico. This agreement recognized the border between the two countries. There is also an art gallery, an auditorium and an amphitheatre. A pathway of just over 3 km crosses the site and provides access to the Bridge of the Americas, a symbol of peace between Mexico and the United States. That said, it's quite a contrast when you consider the wall that separates the two countries.
