MARFA LIGHTS FESTIVAL

The Marfa Festival of Lights is one of the biggest local attractions and festivities. If you're lucky enough to be there in early September, make sure you go to this event, which is free and open to the public and offers many different concerts and performances, often featuring local artists. But the festival obviously centers on Marfa's strange light phenomenon, drawing visitors from all over the world to witness it for themselves. Famous Native Americans and meteorologists have reported seeing unexplainable lights dancing on the horizon.
