Back when Terlingua was a well-inhabited town, this mud building was a cinema. Built in the 1930s, it was abandoned when the surrounding mines ceased operating and the population left the town. Over the years, the roof collapsed, but the premises were reinstated in the 1960s, becoming the region's first open-air bar-restaurant. Today, it serves good Tex-Mex cuisine and plenty to drink. On the outside porch, musicians gather to play.
