It's up to you to choose your wilderness gear and play cowboy! Horseback riding is an incomparable way to get to know the park off the beaten track. For Big Bend, we offer two different two-hour rides (one at sunset, the other through the last active mercury mine in the Big Bend area). Then there's a half-day tour, including lunch, exploring the desert and native pictographs. The company offers other walks departing from Lajitas and Rio Grande.
