WHITEHEAD MEMORIAL MUSEUM
Museum dedicated to the customs located in Del Rio, and to wash clothes at the time and buildings housing objects of the time
A museum dedicated to the United States and the customs of the early settlers of this frontier region. You can put on costumes (rather battered and few in number), wash clothes in a bucket as they were done in those days and, of course, visit its nine buildings housing period artifacts. The museum isn't really worth the detour, but if you're passing through the area, why not take a look and learn a few details about the locals.
