THE SEVEN WATERFALLS
The Setti-Fatma waterfalls are very touristic and particularly appreciated by city dwellers who have come to go green for the day. Once you get to the top, you can enjoy the journey, but since you are walking along the river bank, on rock that has been polished over the centuries, it can sometimes turn out to be slippery. If some walkers wear sandals or even flip-flops, a good pair of sneakers still seems more secure. Many tourists use a guide, but the itinerary is really well marked... by the groups right in front of you. You are not more likely to die of hunger or thirst than to get lost, because even in Ramadan, the estaminets scattered throughout the ascent offer grills to enjoy with your feet in the water. Indeed, terraces, i.e. sofas and other poufs, are installed on the banks at the level of the watercourse. Traders (trinkets, stones, sweets, cherries...) are also very present. What is easily understood as a significant source of income for the inhabitants distorts the site somewhat, but can we really deplore it?
