CRAIGLEITH PROVINCIAL PARK
Craigleith Provincial Park with a flat rock mass with 455 million year old invertebrate fossils.
The fractured patches of rock that form this Georgian Bay shoreline tell an ancient story. This flat rock mass contains invertebrate fossils dating back 455 million years. Now it is ideal for launching sailing boats, fishing, swimming (watch out for fragile feet!) or watching a beautiful sunset. Located at the foot of the Collingwood Blue Mountains, it is close to Wasaga Beach, the Bruce Trail and the Huronia region.
