BISTROT CULTUREL AU SOLEIL
Cultural bistro with a bar serving non-alcoholic cocktails
In Biederthal, American Maluvi Käsbeck (!) has revitalized the former Au Soleil restaurant, transforming it into a cultural bistro and meeting place. The century-old establishment had been closed for several years when Maluvi Käsbeck took it over. She has made new things out of old. Her VSD formula, held on the last weekend of every month, is a success. During these three days, the little café comes to life and the villagers gather to exchange ideas and enjoy the evening program. Friday evening: improvisation! It's an open-door evening for artists, musicians, storytellers... open to all ideas. A piano is available in the hall. On Saturday, the musical program is rich. Talented artists perform in a variety of styles: jazz, country music, Spanish classical music, Irish... The bar serves non-alcoholic cocktails, but not exclusively. On Sundays, an all-you-can-eat themed buffet. A real brunch with quiches, salads, fruit, cheeses, cakes and non-alcoholic cocktails for children. On the Swiss border, Maluvi Käsbeck lives her American dream and shares it with everyone for a weekend.
