Île Saint-Bernard in Châteauguay, Quebec, is a tourist attraction offering a wide range of outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy hiking the trails at the Marguerite-D'Youville wildlife refuge. These trails offer different hiking distances and are surrounded by magnificent natural scenery. Benches, picnic tables, interpretation panels and washrooms are available along the trails. Nature lovers, birdwatchers and photographers will be delighted by the footbridges, docks and other facilities on the island. Please note that a fee is charged for access to the wildlife refuge's trails.

Un site naturel près de Montréal pour toute la famille
Ce site naturel offre diverses activités. Il accueille les randonneurs qui marchent dans un magnifique décor où les oiseaux et même les chevreuils viennent les saluer. Des tables de pique-nique, des aires de jeu sont à disposition. Le bistro « La Traite » offre une cuisine simple, mais délicieuse que nous avons goûtée quelques fois sur la terrasse. Vous y trouverez aussi un café (pour manger sur place ou apporter sur les sentiers) et même une auberge. La boutique offre des produits de qualité et de beaux livres sur les animaux. Les récoltes du potager sont utilisées au café; ce qui ne sert pas est placé dans un frigo communautaire en libre-service. Pour les amoureux de la nature qui habitent ou visitent les villes des alentours, c’est un environnement ressourçant, qui plaira à toute la famille.
