At an altitude of 1,678 m, the Col de la Couillole offers a breathtaking panorama of the Cians gorges in all seasons. A monument commemorating the opening of the road has been erected here. If in summer, the mountain bikers find marked trails, the cross-country skiers have a great time in winter! But beware, it is not uncommon for it to be closed due to snow. On average, it is open for 6 to 7 months a year. So to take advantage of the road link between the Cians gorges in the west and the Tinée valley in the east, check the road conditions!
