Museum dedicated to archaeological finds from the vast Odenburg site
This museum, housed in the Capitol building, is dedicated to the archaeological discoveries from the vast Odenburg site. This site has revealed the existence of important remains dating from Roman antiquity, including legionary camps, a civil settlement and a necropolis. Incineration urns, but also a remarkable sandstone sarcophagus and small statuettes of Roman deities bear witness to the beliefs of the time and the funerary rites. The museum also houses an important collection of domestic objects.
