Derrymore dates back to 1776 and was the elegant cottage of a member of parliament for Newry, Isaac Corry. It is located in a garden not far from Newry and its visit also allows for walks on foot. It was in this house with the pristine straw facades and thatched roofs that the draft Act of Union was drafted in 1800 (Union of Union between Ireland and England).
