On Saturdays, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., a free hula show (from 6 to 7 p.m. from November to January) takes place on the grassy esplanade of Kuhio Beach. The show starts with the sound of the conch, a large shell into which the artist blows. The dancers then follow the dances to the sound of live instruments. The dances are traditional and much more refined than those of most tourist luaus. As a bonus, the beautiful sunset on the beach and the lighting of tiki torches ! Get there early, because it's crowded!
