LYON ARBORETUM
Park created within the framework of a reforestation project, today a real reserve for thousands of tropical plants
This 77-hectare park is part of the University of Hawaii (right next door). It was created in 1918 as part of a reforestation project. Today it is a real reserve for thousands of tropical plants that are endangered in their natural habitat. The eleven kilometers of trails allow you to discover them or simply to stroll in the greenery and coolness of the Manoa Valley. Admission is free, but advance online reservations are required to keep up with the number of annual visitors.
