BYODO IN
The perfect replica of a Japanese temple located near Kyoto, a red building surrounded by a lake in the middle of nature.
Built in 1968 to celebrate the centenary of the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants in Hawaii, the Byodo In is actually a perfect replica of a Japanese temple located near Kyoto. It is a beautiful red building, surrounded by a lake in the middle of nature where peacocks, black swans and "koi" (carp) frolic. The gong of the temple is quite impressive; it weighs three tons! It is said to bring good luck to those who ring it. Inside, you can also see a beautiful Buddha of 3 meters. Notice to the fans: this temple was used as a set for the Korean scenes of the series Lost!

Parking gratuit.
Petit parking vite plein
