Cultural and botanical park with nearly 6,000 species of tropical plants, including some very rare or endemic to Hawaii. Interesting free guided tours take place throughout the day (12:30 pm, 1 pm). On the program: history of native plants, Hawaiian games and stories of local legends. A short 2.5 km round trip walk takes you to the Waimea waterfalls, which are open for swimming, for a refreshing break! In the summer, concerts, movie nights and full moon tours are organized.
