Located in the center of Kailua-Kona, Kamakahonu is the perfect beach for kids: clear, calm waters protected by the harbor, sand for fun and easy access to the water. The perfect break for families. Especially since there are shops offering kayaks and paddles for rent. For snorkelers, you have to go along the right side of the beach until behind the temple to find the coral spot. It is also a good stop on the way to the airport.
