Underground gallery of about fifty meters created by the solidification of the upper part of the magma in contact with the air
Also called Nahuku, this lava tunnel was formed 500 years ago. Discovered by accident, this underground gallery of about 50 meters was created by the solidification of the upper part of the magma in contact with the air. You can visit this impressive tunnel, perfectly lit, after a short walk on a path with tropical vegetation. A small bridge leads to the entrance in the middle of the ferns! The visit is quick but worth the detour. The red lava colored lamps set the mood. Toilets and parking on site.
