pahoa lava zone museum
Museum with beautiful images and videos to visualize the operation of the volcano and the succession of events in 2018
The Pahoa Lava Zone Museum is a small museum run by volunteers, born from the demise of the Jaggar Museum, the former National Park Museum severely damaged by the 2018 eruption and from which the Lava Zone Museum inherited some pieces, and this same 2018 eruption that has significantly transformed the landscape of Pahoa. Very beautiful images and videos are presented in the museum and on the website, it allows to visualize very precisely the operation of the volcano and the succession of events throughout the year 2018.
