WAIOLA & HOLY INNOCENTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Churches in Lahaina, one near the Waine'e cemetery where monarchs are buried and the other in a sober style dating from 1927.
Waiola Church (535 Waine'e Street). Destroyed several times by fire and two storms in the early 19th century, the church was restored in 1951. Next door is the Waine'e Cemetery where several monarchs are buried, including Kamehameha I.
Holy Innocents Episcopal church (561 Front Street). A small church with a sober style built in 1927. Note: the birds (on the paintings) that are now extinct were endemic to Hawaii.
