The Waihee Ridge Trail is a fairly easy hike, but in case of bad weather, it is best to skip it as all the panoramic views of the coast will be hidden by clouds. During the walk, you will reach some stairs that lead to a restored temple, the Kukuipuka Heiau, from where the view is superb. The view more than makes up for the 8 km round trip and the climb. From Maluiha Road you will see a large parking lot. The trail starts at the gate. To see on the path, the falls of Makamakaole and many birds.
