Visitor Center located at the crater level, providing brochures, hiking maps and Park Headquarters materials.
This Visitor Center, located at the crater level (2,969m), is open from sunrise to 3pm. Further down, the Park Headquarters Visitor Center (2,134m) is open from 8am to 3:45pm. Park and volcano information center. If you're going to watch the sunrise, this is also a heated, enclosed area, a handy place to go to keep warm after watching the sunrise in freezing temperatures on the median next door. You will also find brochures and hiking maps as well as a small souvenir store.
