Walk to the Silversword Loop on dirt, walking to the viewpoint of the North Maui coast and the crater.
In only two kilometers you can reach a viewpoint on the north coast of Maui and on the crater. This walk is easier than the others because you walk on dirt and not on sand. The trail continues for another 4 kilometers to reach the first camp and then another 3 kilometers to reach the Silversword Loop. It is imperative to bring a map because it is difficult to find your way in this environment. Count 4-5 hours for the round trip. Bring plenty of water and sun protection.
