For golf enthusiasts, Pukalani Country Club has a beautiful 18-hole golf course. The location is simply magical, situated at an altitude of 300 meters on the slopes of Haleakala, Maui's central volcano. The sea stretches to the horizon while the coolness of the heights contrasts with the overwhelming sun of the coast, one could almost believe to be in another state of the United States. It's not for nothing that the owners chose the name "Pukalani" in Hawaiian, which translates into "the gates of paradise".
