Kalaupapa is a small town in Hawaii, known for its airport, Kalaupapa Airport. This airport serves residents of the Kalaupapa Colony as well as visitors to Kalaupapa National Historical Park. It is served by scheduled airliners. It should also be noted that mask wearing is no longer mandatory on airport property, in accordance with a court ruling issued by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Away from the airport, Kalaupapa is renowned for its history and its National Historical Park. Visitors can learn about the history of the Kalaupapa colony and enjoy the region's magnificent scenery.
