A mini museum and a bookshop. Exhibition of archival photos and sale of books about Kalaupapa. The two books with the most patient testimonies and photos are The Separating Sickness and Kalaupapa, a portrait. Also on display are everyday objects adapted by the patients to be used by their atrophied limbs, such as this spoon with a metal bracelet welded to it, which was used by patients without the use of their hands. The visitor's center is always open for guided tours.
