Very unspoiled white sand beach right in front of the Kauai Marriott Beach Hotel in Lihue
The beach is located right in front of the Kauai Marriott Beach Resort, but access is public. Although it is in a very urban environment and a stone's throw from the harbor, Kalapaki Beach is a very unspoiled white sand beach. Its calm waters make it an excellent place to swim and a very good place to learn to surf or boogie-board (lessons available). Showers, toilets and a picnic area are available at Nawiliwili Park, west of the beach. Water sports equipment rental and snack bars are located at the entrance of the beach.
