Kumu Camp is the budget-friendly option on Kauai. Located on Anahola Beach, the campground has about 15 tent sites and a dozen bungalows scattered on the sand. A shower and toilet area is shared by all, as well as a sheltered terrace with tables and chairs. Bring your own stove and dishes. The price is high for the service but the setting is beautiful and the island doesn't have many options in between. The nearest bus stop is a 20-minute walk away. Volleyball net.
