Beach frequented by kite surfers and fishermen and by tourists in Kapaa
Less exceptional than Waipouli Beach, it has the advantage of having toilets and a picnic area in its park. It is more frequented by kite surfers and fishermen than by tourists. Camping is possible with a permit. To swim, it is better to go along the beach towards the south and cross the bridge over the Konohiki River to reach Fuji Beach (or Baby Beach), protected by a stone dike. Kapa'a is also the starting point of the 11 km long Ke ala hele makalae walking and cycling trail that runs along the coastline towards the north.
