From the parking lot, a path leads to the fine sand of Secret Beach, one of the largest beaches in Kauai. It is rather frequented by surfers, fond of its waves, as the sea is not suitable for swimming here. But by going to the right end of the beach, one reaches a pretty cove, protected by hardened lava rocks where one can swim, without risks, in translucent waters. It owes its name to the fact that you have to walk 10-15 minutes through the forest to get there, enough to discourage the less daring.
