This long and beautiful sandy beach stretches in front of the Grand Hyatt hotel (don't hesitate to go for a walk in its garden if you have the opportunity). Rather windy and unsupervised, it is not very suitable for swimming but very popular with boogie-boarders. A delightful place for a picnic or breakfast break. It is also the starting point of the Mahaulepu Heritage Trail which allows a pleasant walk along the coast. Watch the horizon between December and May, whales can be seen from time to time along the coast.
