Located at the end of the road crossing the Waimea Canyon and the Kokee Forest National Park, Puu O Kila Lookout offers superb views over the Kalalau Valley and the Napali Coast. Beware, however, clouds like the place as much as we do, and tend to elect home from 11 a. m. It is better to go early so. The lookout is also the starting point for the Pihea Trail hiking in the forest to offer beautiful views as well. With moderate difficulty, however, it turns into a rink when it rains…
