A sheltered sandy beach, this is one of the family favourites in summer. The waters of the Pacific Ocean are peaceful and the access is fast (no long way to get there). Free parking is available at the end of Hellesen Drive, but for a limited time only. For the adventurous, the rocky headlands along the beach edge hide a wilderness to explore: cliffs, windswept trees and a small bay at the southern beach edge of MacKenzie. A paradise for relaxing, surfing, or even watching the sunset.
