This bridge is considered the longest in the world (it spans the river over 390 m) links roads 103 and 105. It was borrowed through the Trans-Canada Highway until 1960. It is a wooden bridge built in 1901, in the shape of a barn, whose roof consists of powerful beams: due to the severity of the climate, covering bridges extended their duration.

Petit détour pour voir ce pont, prendre le temps de s’arrêter Avant le pont afin de le photographier. Le pont est en bon état et bien conserver.

Sur la route 103, le pont couvert d’ Hartland : nous nous sommes garés et l’avons traversé (1200pieds). En effet, à côté de la chaussée, un passage piétons couvert permet de voir sa structure intérieure en bois en toute sécurité et de faire des photos des deux côtés!
