BOWRON LAKE REGISTRATION CENTRE
Bowron Lake Provincial Park is located in northern British Columbia, Canada, 117 km east of the town of Quesnel. It covers an area of 1,492 km² and was established in 1961. The park is home to the famous Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit, a 116 km-long chain of waterways and lands. The full circuit takes between six and ten days to complete, but a shorter section can be done in two to four days. Some wilderness canoeing experience is recommended to attempt the circuit. The park also has a 25-site campground, located near Bowron Lake. There are also a number of hiking trails nearby. The park offers a wide variety of landscapes and vegetation, from the rolling hills of the Quesnel Highlands in the west to the towering Cariboo Mountains in the east and south.
