KSAN HISTORICAL VILLAGE
A guided tour of a typical native village in the region, with longhouses and various works, in Hazelton
This complete guided tour takes you to a typical native village of the region with its longhouses (large wooden houses): carving, tool and jewelry making. The Gitxsan people have lived on these lands for more than 8,000 years. The big totem poles welcome you at the entrance of the village. Before your visit, ask about the Ksan Performing Arts Group's show schedule. Ksan means "between the shores". You will be able to visit the Amerindian art shop where you will find many handicrafts.
